Tante Dicky & Ria
We met Tante Dicky and Ria again at oma Nell's place and had a lot of fun. Somehow we 'connect' as if we've known each other for over 20 years tante Dicky said, very nice. Tante Dicky invited us to her Playpark in Valkeveen. Last time we were there it was winter so it was closed, now that it's summer we really have to go there. Vincent was smiling even more when he learned that she has owned many Porsches and even now still drives a 911!Posted on May 21, 2004 at 11:51 AM in Tante Dicky & Oom Albert & Ria | Permalink| Comments (0)
Cherisa & Danny got married
Cousin Cherisa and Danny got married by Raimond, our own very special private BABS (Buitengewoon Ambtenaar van de Burgelijke Stand), who used to change her diapers when she was little. Of course we did our usual family act of singing a medley of Wieteke van Dort's well known Dutch-Indonesian songs, making the lyrics as hard as possible to understand by the B'landas by using as many Indonesia words as possible.Posted on May 20, 2004 at 11:28 PM in Cherisa & Danny, Danilo, Raimond & Michel | Permalink| Comments (0)

More Californians
We had more family coming over from California, this time Wouter and Connie. Wouter's name is too hard to pronounce for the average American, they call him Wooter or Walter. They live on the coast in Santa Cruz, so we have to be nice to them ;-)Posted on May 17, 2004 at 12:42 AM in Wouter & Connie | Permalink| Comments (0)

Jeany & Craig again
When we came back from our holiday, Jeany & Craig were here again. They will be coming over from Redwood City at least once a year since Tante Annie now lives here. They keep inviting us to a beach house in California, next year we really have to go.Posted on May 16, 2004 at 11:56 PM in Jeany & Craig | Permalink| Comments (0)

Schumi: alles ist vorbei
Yep, it's over for Michael Schumacher, the time has come for him to retire. Here you see our new F1 champion doing a few laps in his Ferrari. Even the pit girls are already queueing up as you can see.Posted on May 16, 2004 at 11:49 PM in Lanzarote | Permalink| Comments (0)
Doing nothing

Lanzarote Playground
We went on holiday to Lanzarote, All Inclusive. Good fun of course, doing nothing, too much food and too many drinks. Vincent enjoyed himself in the playground, here he is wearing the Hawaii T-shirt he got from Roy after he came back from the big island. The father of Vincent's friend Angela, a very nice American family living in Germany, even asked if we originally are from Hawaii. Maybe not such a strange question, after all it's not that far from Indonesia.More pictures: Overview Slideshow
