Toys

Toys

Boys need lots of toys, so here are some new ones. To please the ears, there is this ultra super cool set of Canton Vento speakers, combining German precision engineering with Italian styling. Two enormous floorstanding front speakers, a center speaker and 2 bookshelf sized surrond speakers on stands. Of course a subwoofer is included, the size of a small fridge. And what's Sound without Vision? So to please the eyes, there is the Hitachi 42PD7200, 42 inch / 106 cm HD Ready flatscreen plasma TV.

222222

222222

Today good old Saab 900 SE 2.5 V6 managed to get a very respectable figure on the milage clock: 222222.

And despite it's age, performance is still rather good as the speedometer shows. And don't worry, this was on a Germany highway without speedlimit ;-)

Dutch Indies Liberation Day

Like every year, Opa Maurits attended the memorial service to remember the liberation of the Dutch Indies from the Japanese. This year he appeared on the NOS News again, wearing his medal of honour.
