Communication Museum revisited

OK, let's try again. Here is a really really old computer, with a strange keyboard, doesn't even have the basics like a display and Need for Speed. The old telephones had a strange dial and a wire and you had to be connected through a huge switchboard. And they had some weird kind of email called letters, you had to weigh them and put stamps on them, very old fashioned.

Panorama Mesdag

We went to see the Panorama Mesdag museum, you know, the round painting with real sand. And somebody forgot his shoe. Later on we went to the dunes to see for real what was in the painting.

Cyberwedding Phons & Lyanne

Phons and Lyanne met eachother in cyberspace through internet website Relatieplanet.nl and now they got married. Initially, attempts were taken to keep things short, simple and in jeans. Ultimately, it turned into a two day celebration with all bells and whistles, in full gear. Cutting the cake at the Rovekamp residence, the wedding ceremony in Delft and dinner in Rijswijk were not enough. The next day a sporty reception was held at the Outdoorvalley facilities in Bergenschenhoek, including climbing, biking, rowing, shooting, etc. All of this unexpectedly finalized with another spontaneous dinner, before they went off to Japan. Sayonara!

Singing

Vincent loves the kids department in the bookstore in the Passage, The Hague. And they conveniently have a Bagles and Beans shop in there as well, so he can also have his 'sandwich with a hole in the middle'. This time there was a classical singing concert which Vincent had to observe from really up close.
