Vendelpad

When we moved from Rijswijk to Zoetermeer, we first lived at Vendelpad 24. So when we went for a big bikeride, we stopped by at the Vendelpad to show Vincent.

Tante Corrie Roumimper passed away

At the age of 90, Tante Corrie Roumimper-Von Ende passed away. She was the sister in law of opa Maurits, the widow of opa's brother Willy. Opa was in Indonesia but fortunately we were able to track him down. He quickly returned and was in time to take care of the arrangements.

Bath

During a business trip to Bath, there was plenty of time to check out the city, which actually is very pretty. There was also an opportunity to see Stonehenge, which is close by. The Stones are interesting but not quite as impressive as, say, the Pyramids.

Davy

Davy has about the fastest remote control car on the planet with over 70 km/h and an engine doing over 20.000 revs. So obviously Vincent was delighted when his hero friend came over to wake up the neigbourhood. Of course Vincent showed all his remote control cars as well.

Opa to Indonesia again

Two months in the Netherlands is enough for opa Maurits, so he's is going back to Sukabumi, Indonesia again. After the last dinner and before leaving, Opa and Vincent enjoy reading the encyclopedia together.
