Oom Nelis passed away
Shortly after we visited him, Oom Nelis passed away in his home in Redwood City, California. He was regarded as a brother by oma Hedwig and also had a very close relationship with opa Maurits. We are grateful that we were able to visit him before he passed, to reminisce about old times. At the wedding of oma Hedwig and opa Maurits, oom Nelis' oldest daughter Maud was a bridesmaid. Our thoughts are with Maud and Carol and their families.
